Directions:
In a small group, students are to produce a "One Page Report." This is a poster that includes the following information from top to bottom:
- The full title of the article.
- The author's full name.
- The date of publication.
- A significant quote from the article.
- Four summaries of the author's key claims. (This is a general statement of what a segment of the reading is about.)
- Each summary should list several details or evidence from the reading that support those claims. (These can be facts, figures, stories, quotes from the article that when considered all together make the author's claim.) Put page numbers next to specific details and evidence.
- List key terms from the article with a quick definition. (two to six.)
